The “Deal Days” event organised by AEEE in partnership with Smart Joules was attended by professionals in Hospital sector in and around NCR region. The session was very interactive and we can able to see the voluntary participation of guests in every energy saving discussion.
We made a presentation on “Heat Pumps” and “RESCO”which were well received by the audience followed by interesting Q&A Session. Though the concept of Heat pump was known to the audience, many surprised with the fact that the heat pump can supply free cold water simultaneously delivering hot water.
The Chief Engineers from Fortis Hospital, BLK hospital, Stephen hospital etc attended the event and every one of them uses Diesel for hot water generation. Our Pay back period for Heat pump solution Vs Diesel made them to think seriously about the savings and most of them contacted us immediately after the session and we were able to meet 3 hospitals the next day for a Thermal Audit.
We hope with more awareness about the heat pump technology and ESCO/RESCO models in place every hospital will get maximum benefit which in turn benefit the entire society on energy savings and reduced carbon foot print.
